So I haven't posted since May and it is December! Oy! Since I last posted I have been to Chicago, Ireland, France, Vegas twice and San Francisco. My wandering heart is full! I've seen John Mayer AGAIN, Stroke 9 AGAIN, Better than Ezra for the first time, watched some theater and read a few books. I've been creative, although it was for work, not for personal. I have fallen in "like"&"lust" but not love, yet. I need to mail some art and keep up the walking I did overseas. Trying to figure out my next adventure...any suggestions!

100 degrees of love
coachella: (n) 100 degrees of heat and music, (and this year, gay men...thanks Madonna) food, music, beer, music, crowds, music, and one long ass drive to the desert. Here are the bands I saw...
James Blunt: Yeah, you're beautiful...whatever.
Phoenix: YES!! The 2nd reason I went to this event. As good as Alphabetical. I wish they were spending more time in the states this summer.
Louis Vega: Good mindless DJ music.
Matisyahu/minus the bear: Good/Better
Block Party: A pleasant surprise. I am a newly recruited fan. Their music does it all...lyrics, melody, beats.

Madonna: Bitch made us wait for her in the 1000 degree heat. not...cool. the four cheesy disco songs were not worth it. Crammed in a tent with 1000s of hot sweaty men... gay, so still not worth it.

One of my New Year's resolutions (I know...It's april) was to be more creative. If you know my busy life, you know I don't have a lot of time. To incorporate my crazy work and social life into my creative life I have decided to create a collage a week using things I have collected throughout the week. Here are the first 6 in the series. Stroke...9 and KCRW LOVE!
This week has been the week to discover new music. Thursday night was the night to meet De and Sparky's favorite band Stroke 9. www.stroke9.com They are a great party band, cute to look at and put up with our crazy asses after the concert. Hope to see them again in January.
After staying home and resting on friday night we traveled Saturday up to the Universal (Gisbon) Amphitheater for the Sounds Eclectic Evening benefit concert for KCRW. It was an incredible night of new and already discovered music. Acts included Goldspot, Feist, Sia, Gomez, Brit Daniel, Ben Harper, Franz Ferdinand and Deathcab for Cutie. Every act was awesome and this years KCRWconcert was even better than last years and last year was headlined by COLDPLAY!

Random Favorite Holiday
I just spent the weekend celebrating my favorite holiday and enjoying the perks of March Madness in Las Vegas. Why I love St Patrick's day? Who knows! I'm not Irish for Patrick's sake, but I love me a pint and a jig! So we visited our favorite Vegas Irish pub Nine Fine Irishmen www.ninefineirishmen.com in the New York New York Hotel and Casino. 2 live bands and lots of Guiness and Smithwicks. With March Madness in full swing it was 20 to 1 guys to girls. A special thanks to Garry, our host for the weekend!
Weekend Highlights
• being told I am a good dancer by an Irishman (that folklorico dancing came disguised as step dancing!)
• falling out of bed when the rest of the gang showed up to our room. (oops!)
• laughing with our wait staff at dinner. They were some frisky old guys.
• Being propositioned by an Irishman for a partner in a sharesy with Sparky! (ung lak a do kay!) yeah right buddy!
• Finally seeing Hart and Huntington! No Carey though!
• Putting 20 dollar bills in a stripper g-string. (if you look real close you see its just a manniquin at Victoria's Secret at the Forum Shops!)
• Flirting with the Knights at the "Tournament of Kings" at the Excaliber.
• Dave doing his Cable Guy impression. (Yes...chicken skin on the face! Clarisse!)
• Dancing with Howie the bachelor from Newcastle, England.
